Tiny House Container with Queen-sized Bedroom and over-sized Bathroom

Doors, Doors, and more Doors

A Tiny House Container has lots of them!

Let’s dive into the door-tastic adventure!

First up, we have the Barn Door, a colossal 8 x 8 feet door made of two magnificent out-swing panels. It’s as tall and wide as the container itself! If something doesn’t fit through this door, well, it’s simply too big for a shipping container. No compromises here!

Next, we have the dazzling French Door. Like the Barn Door, it boasts two out-swing panels. The big glass inserts in this door let you soak in stunning views from the Great Room and Kitchenette. It’s a game-changer!

And now, the award for the most convenient door goes to… the Back Door! Located at the very end of the container, this out-swing door provides direct access to the bathroom. Convenience at its finest!

Out-Swing versus In-Swing Doors

Not all doors are created equal. Most tiny houses have one regular in-swing door, which swings inside when opened. In a small space, this can be a hassle, blocking access to important areas. That’s why all Tiny House Containers are equipped with out-swing doors. No compromises here either!

Why do Tiny House Containers feature two huge doors and one regular door when most tiny houses have just one?

We noticed that other builders block and disable the container door. But why block an essential part of a container? Imagine the view through the container door—better than IMAX! So we designed the interior space with an operable container door, which we proudly call the Barn Door. It’s as well insulated as the interior walls.

We absolutely love the French Door. It makes you feel connected to the outdoors while still being inside. Windows just don’t compare. Instead of a window and a regular door, we added a grand French Door. Open it, and it feels like the outdoors becomes part of your living space.

Having all these doors at your disposal will literally open the doors to a new lifestyle. More connected. More natural. More adventurous. Try it out and embrace the possibilities!
